Nichole + Josh met in high school (his freshmen year, her sophomore year). They were such good friends in high school that they told everyone they were cousins. Flash forward to the awkward moment when they made their relationship Facebook official and we have got ourselves a beautiful love story!
If you have ever met Nichole and Joshua, you know that their love is abso-freaking-lutely incredible. They are the cutest couple ever and so much fun to be around. I know because Nichole is my cousin and I’ve watched their relationship grow so strong over the years. Their love is out of this world awesome.
Josh asked Nichole to marry him on New Year’s Day in the front yard of her cousin’s house next to light up reindeer. Josh had just gotten a new camera that he wanted to use SO badly. The rest is history. <3
Nichole and Joshua said “I Do” on a beautiful autumn day surrounded by 120+ of their closest friends and family. They chose Our Lady of Loreto Catholic Church and the Valley Country Club as their venues because it was GREAT pricing for what they wanted and it was beyond beautiful! “Fall Vibezzz” were the inspiration for the wedding decor and man, was it DREAMY AF. Pinterest was a great resource of information while planning this gorgeous fall wedding. Accents of maroon, gold, and burnt orange radiated the room. Nichole found a fantastic floral lady in Parker, Colorado who made her fall floral dreams come to life. The linens were a pretty cream color and the ceiling lighting was spectacular. The escort cards were done by Nichole’s bff/MOH’s grandpa who has wonderful handwriting. Since Nichole and Joshua got married 2 days before Halloween they had a candy bar and cute bags for their guests to take candy home. She got their cake topper from Etsy and it was PERFECT. If you know Nichole, you know of her love for Nightmare Before Christmas so having Jack and Sally at the top of their wedding cake was the BEST. Nichole set up a beautiful “In Memory” table for her dad who passed away. They also made all of the centerpieces which Nichole’s family helped set up at the venue the day of during the bridal preparations.
I asked Nichole what her absolute favorite part of the day was and she said, “the ENTIRE day was my favorite!”. From the vows at the church to their first dance as newlyweds, the Vialpando wedding was filled with magic. When Nichole’s brother, Anthony danced with her in place of her dad for the father/daughter dance, my heart legit melted and there was not a dry eye in the room. Nichole and Joshua were SO excited to see sooooo many of their family and friends come out to celebrate the start of their happily ever after. Their wedding was the definition of #weddinggoals.
The love + happiness that shined through each + every guest in attendance was super duper rad. Nichole + Josh's wedding was THE BEST DAY EVER. The Vialpando's sure know how to throw one hell of a kick ass wedding. <3
I asked Nichole if she would be willing to share some tips + advice for future couples planning to tie the knot so here's some words of advice from the beautiful bride herself:
What advice would you give to future brides for their wedding day?
"Don't stress about anything that didn't turn out or look the way you wanted it."
What advice would you give to future grooms for their wedding day?
"Don't get drunk :) ha!"
What was the biggest challenge you faced in planning your wedding?
"Worrying about everything being perfect, but if you go with the flow it ends up turning out perfect anyways."
How did you tame your wedding day nerves?
"I wasn't really nervous, I was more excited than anything."
Any particularly funny stories from the day?
"Josh got drunk and my cousins had to help him into our hotel room (LOL)"
What are you most excited for as your relationship grows?
"Being married forever and starting a family!"
What photography-related advice would you offer to other couples?
"Listen to Jazz.. she's the professional!"

"The best ever...duh! You've done a handful of photos for not just me, but all my friends and we ALL LOVE YOU SO MUCH! Every experience is always the best!"
