Alyssa and Sam are the sweetest couple ever! I absolutely loved exploring through the Corrales Bosque in Corrales, New Mexico for these beautiful engagement photos! Alyssa and I had been planning the details for this gorgeous styled engagement session and when the day came, we were all SO excited!

Sam’s sister is Noel Dalton, who owns The Vanity Makeup Studio in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She also owns Diadema + Gloriam that creates handmade gemstone crowns that are STUNNING and truly one of a kind. Alyssa wore a lovely crystal crown and Noel did her makeup so flawlessly. I loved the yellow bohemian styled dress Alyssa chose for the shoot. The blue denim shirt and brown pants that Sam chose for his outfit complimented Alyssa’s look to a T!

Stephanie Yardman Floral Design designed a dazzling showstopper of a bouquet for this incredible shoot. Alyssa was so excited when she saw the bouquet because sunflowers are her fave! I loved the pink and purple colors that Stephanie chose for the bouquet and how GORG they looked with the sunflowers. Stephanie’s floral design work is seriously out of this world extraordinary! Her florals truly made this shoot so phenomenal.

It was a cloudy day in the Corrales Bosque that gave such a moody and romantic vibe to the shoot. The colors of Alyssa’s dress, Sam’s outfit, and the awesome florals truly popped against the greenery of the bosque. Sam and Alyssa shared laughs, sweet smooches, lots of snuggles, and warm hugs during their engagement shoot.

Towards the end of the session, I had them take a minute to read love letters to one another. They wrote these letters before the session and hadn’t shown them to each other until that moment. It made for the sweetest, most amazing emotions to come out. It was truly an awesome memory to capture. <3
