Jade + Steve had their beautiful Albuquerque Wedding at Sandia Resort & Casino in Albuquerque, New Mexico on a perfect summer day in June. Sandia Resort & Casino was the perfect choice for the #dosdibaris wedding because it was easy for Jade + Steve’s out of town guests to attend. They truly wanted their guests to have a fantastic time so the casino was a great fit. Since they met in Las Vegas, Nevada in June of 2013, celebrating their wedding at a casino was a given.

Jade was rear ended by an old lady the day before the wedding. Jade became so delusional she laughed until she cried. Later that evening, Jade slept with her grandma in her hotel room. Her grandma put lavender on Jade’s pillow so she would sleep soundly. The relaxation was much needed + Jade went into the next day with no wedding day nerves.

The day started off with Jade + Steve getting ready for their best day ever at Sandia Resort & Casino. Jade looked absolutely radiant + beautifully flawless on her wedding day thanks to her incredible best friends + #DreamTeam, Kata Baron + Ashley Castro.

Jade + Steve exchanged their heartfelt vows at the San Felipe de Neri Church located on the north side of Old Town Plaza in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Both Jade + Steve said their ceremony was their favorite part of the day. Catholic ceremonies have such a special place in my heart + the architecture of San Felipe de Neri Church made for some spectacular family formals. We adventured around Old Town Plaza to take photos with their wedding party + then hopped on the party bus back to Sandia Resort & Casino to get the party started.

The DiBari wedding was like a dream wedding Pinterest board had came to life. Modern vibes inspired their incredible wedding decor. Geometric shapes, as well as blush + gold accents, combined with vibrant pops of reds + greens made the decor absolutely breathtaking. Her flowers were GORGEOUS (like seriously jaw droppingly gorge) thanks to her auntie Virginia who was a florist for 30 years in Taos, New Mexico. The red David roses + vibrant greenery went so well with the gold geometric shapes on the tables. I’m a total sucker for string lighting during wedding receptions + Sandia Resort & Casino had their reception game on point. I’ll never forget what a beautiful sight it was to witness Jade dancing with her father to “Wildflowers” by Tom Petty for their father daughter dance. I’m telling y'all, this was one hell of an amazing wedding. The speeches by their wedding party totally hit everyone in the feels + the way Jade + Steve looked at each other with so much love + excitement melted all of our hearts. If that wasn't rad enough, Steve + Jade also had the COOLEST party favors ever. They gave their guests scratchers so everyone had a chance to win some $$$. The envelopes on their favors said, "We hope you are as lucky as we are". MY HEART <3. They also had cornhole games, a touch screen mirror selfie booth, + an epic s’mores bar for their guests. The entire evening was filled with dancing, laughter, love, + so much fun with all of their loved ones.

Since I am a bride to be myself, I asked Jade if she would be willing to share some advice with brides and grooms that are planning their own big day and I wanted to share some of the rad advice and inspiration she shared.

What advice would you give to future brides for their wedding day?

"Don't forget that your husband to be is the most important person to give your attention to that day. It's hard and overwhelming lol."

What advice would you give to future grooms for their wedding day?

"Don't hold back tears, just let them flow :)"

What are you most excited for as your relationship grows?

"Life, kids, vacations..."

What photography-related advice would you offer to other couples?

"Do whatever Jasmine says!"
