Samantha and Joey had the most amazing wedding at the beautiful Casas de Suenos Old Town Historic Inn in Albuquerque New Mexico. Their incredible wedding day was the perfect combination of rustic glam and classic elegance. Casas de Suenos Old Town Historic Inn in Albuquerque, New Mexico is such an extraordinary wedding venue. There are so many stunning areas within the venue that are outstanding for taking awesome wedding photos.

Joey and Samantha wanted a rustic, relaxed, and fun wedding experience and I think they’re expectations went above and beyond. They chose Casas de Suenos Old Town Historic Inn in Albuquerque New Mexico as their wedding venue because their vision for their day was to be outside and beautiful and Casas de Suenos Old Town Historic Inn was the perfect venue for what was included.

The inspiration for their wedding day was country — rustic elements including bells to “ring for a kiss” and that her bridesmaids wore cowboy boots with their stunning dresses. The beautiful short length infinity style dresses Sam chose for her bridesmaids were so gorg! Sam also wore cowboy boots as weak as fabulous little Brynn (Joey and Sam’s beautiful baby girl!). Joey and Sam DIY-ed a lot of their wedding day decor and favors. Their favors were so adorable and fit their hashtag #LoveGrovesHere to a T. The purple color palette they chose for their day was bold and absolutely gorgeous! I loved the floral elements they chose in their wedding decor and how rich and bold it made everything pop! Their family also contributed to their day which was amazing — Sam’s grandma made the floral arrangements as well as the programs and invitations, her cousin Jesse Pickard made their stunning wedding cake, and her cousin Kevin was the DJ.

The day began with Sam and her bridesmaids getting ready at Wyndham Albuquerque Hotel & Conference Center. Juliette Peralta with Viva Grace Makeup did the makeup and hair styling for Sam and her bride tribe and they looked so beautifully radiant! The pool area inside the Wyndham Albuquerque Hotel & Conference Center was the perfect area to start the day with some incredible pre-wedding portraits with Sam and her bridesmaids. I love the floral robes that Sam gifted them to get ready in. The beautiful tropical greenery from the pool area made for some stunning bridal party photos.

The ceremony at Casas de Suenos Old Town Historic Inn was truly so amazing. I loved that they had a special moment for Brynn during their ceremony and gifted her a beautiful bracelet. Joey and Sam’s vows to one another had everyone’s hearts melting and that they played “I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles)” by The Proclaimers as they walked down the aisle after saying “I Do”. That song has always played such a huge part in their relationship so having it played as they walked down the aisle to start their happily ever after was amazing!

While we began taking Joey and Sam’s stunning bridal party portraits as well as romantics of the two, their guests were able to attend their bad ass cocktail hour. With Love Waffles Food Truck was dishing out some scrumptious waffles to their family and friends and seriously how cool is that for a wedding cocktail hour?! The waffles were so yummy and everyone loved them!

Once the wedding reception began, the party really got started! Joey and Sam’s first dance with Brynn melted everyone’s hearts and their heartfelt toasts from their bridal party were so special. I love that Joey and Sam chose a hot dog bar for their wedding reception. It was so fun and unconventional which was freaking awesome! Also — insanely delicious! They also loved that they went this route because Sam said it symbolizes them pretty darn good, lol.

The night was filled with lots of rad dance moves, fun, and laughter. We ended the night with a sparkler send off for the new Mr. & Mrs. Groves! It was seriously the perfect end to the most amazing wedding day.
